Analysis of the Story Book, Façeta, By Reşat Coşkun in Terms of Characters

The story book called Faceta was published in 2018 and consists of seventeen stories that are the reflection of the author's life. The heroes in the stories are seen as the ones who are virtuous, moral, faithful, try to live the religion correctly, idealist, nationalist conservative, Sufi people, and question mistakes. The fact that the heroes are from Erzurum is another obvious detail. The reason for that can be explained as the fact that Reşat Coşkun is from Erzurum. In some stories, the protagonists appear as the teacher, who is the author's profession. In addition, the experiences of the author in Faceta are reflected in the stories through the heroes. Since Coşkun is from Erzurum and resides in this city, the protagonists of his stories use the traditions, places and way of speaking of Erzurum from time to time. In addition to these issues, it is seen that the heroes in the stories also use idioms prominently. It is another remarkable element that the same heroes take place in some stories in the work Faceta.
