The Golden Horde State, which was established in the Deşt-i Kipchak geography in the 13th century, gained an effective position in this region because of successful inns from the first times. However, over time, it is seen that the power in the state administration passed from the legal khans to Emir Nogai, who was a division chief. Although Emir Nogai was a descendant of Chinggis Khan, he had no right to be the rightful heir to the throne because he was born from a concubine. However, Emir Nogai, who became more present in the political scene especially after the death of Mengü Timur Han, began to act as an inn during the Tuda Mengü, Tula Buka, and Tokta periods. In this process, he commanded an important military power as well as the vast lands he owned. Emir Nogai extended his sphere of influence to the sovereignty of other states in the region, thanks to the authority he acquired over time. Thus, Emir Nogai made his influence felt not only in the Golden Horde but also in the Byzantine, Balkans, and Russian affairs. This influence of Nogai gradually diminished after 1300 when he was killed by Tokta Khan and soon disappeared.
